I don't have much to blog about because I basically outlined and wrote Survive 2 years ago and I don't remember any of the research I did or the reason behind some decisions in the chapters. I just know at the time I was reading al the post-NA serials to find any reference to life in New Aeterna I could use.
Plot Bunny Wishlist 🐰
So... there still isn't anything new brewing. I'm still waiting for my muse to send me a story. I know Christmas is over but here is my wish list of things I'd love to write:
1. Pure happy good time fluff. I have this funny idea to do a coffee shop AU with just everyone.
2. More Vice!Nova. I really only wrote one thing about him. I had to sand him down for Years and I want to revisit these grittier version.
3. I think I wanted to do more with the Furies Motorcycle Club. Just not sure what.
4. I'd love to explore the whole Years!Maverick-Haley-Luce relationship but I am still so burnt out on those characters right now.
5. A LONG time ago I wanted to write about Rhett's rough and tumble fraternal Uncle Deacon meeting Rhett's religious conservative maternal Aunt Macy. Except they would teenagers and it would be 70s but I could never think of anything beyond a scene where she has an internal monologue about how he and his brothers reminder her of The Outsiders.
No matter what I don't see myself writing more serials. I think I've found a groove with 2-6 chapters in length.
I haven't really put much thought into writing a new thing so, now that it's on my mind, we'll see what happens.
Survive 4
As a recap:
For 7 years, Haley, Nova and Sailor have been hiding in a 200 square foot illegal basement apartment underneath Luce's assigned apartment because they want to stay together but the Regime is homophobic. When Luce doesn't come back home, they stay in the basement--even when someone else moves into the apartment above.
While in New Aeterna, Luce is assigned to work in Helion Castle. He gets hot oil thrown on him for looking at the angels.. Haley has no idea where he is but we know Genesis smuggled him out to help her Resistance.
CP!Shawna: Okay, so I think we've learned from re-visiting some of your older stuff that messing with timelines has always been your downfall
SHV: Right. Except, well--
CP!Shawna: Don't do it.
SHV: Okay..so lets back up to find out what happened to Haley when he snuck out the basement to get food.
