Hi!
I have no idea why I decided to log again. I hit a roadblock with the last bit of Heart Speak but I think I've cobbled something together to finish that story out.
What's Next ?
2019 - 2020 was an unexpected year in a lot of ways. But for some reason it was an amazing time for me creatively. I was just bombarded with characters, story ideas, and scenes and was writing serial on top of serial. There were days I fell into my writing and never wanted to surface.
Which has made 2021 so odd.
I haven't had an idea for a single new thing in 2021. There are no characters or stories "living" in my head and it's been so odd having the creative side of my brain be this quiet for so long.
What have I been up to ? I sometimes get nostalgic and do re-reading (and even some editing) of Liberation and Years. It's mostly little line edits but one day I'd like to do a big developmental edit of one of my serials...I'm kind of thinking United Light because I have so much more cult knowledge than I did back then. If anything I'd go darker ? It's just...the idea of doing that is so daunting and un-fun right now
But I could also see myself re-working Years because I really want to smooth out the timeline
The Future
Back in...January 2020 I did TDOSH FZA aka Lost Sentinel. I planned to share it when I finished Heart Speak but I never finished Heart Speak until now. I'll maybe share the TDOSH the next time I pop up....I need to find where I saved it 😬
So that's my update and now I can check finishing Heart Speak this off my list. 😇
Hearts Speak Recap
20-year-old Nova Haley Grace is a a little older but still a lot of bit reckless.
He's attending Albany Community College after getting kicked out of the university for drinking. He invites his friend Beckett Mckinney with him to NYC to go to Maverick--his Dad's boyfriend of 2 years--birthday party.
When Beck leaves the party early to visit his ex, Nova doesn't take it well. He pours bleach on Beck's clothes and then goes out with the first guy who gives him attention--26 year old DJ PRI5M aka River. They meet when River comes to the house for his check. He and River go to a party in Brooklyn, sleep together drink and then Nova wakes up in the hospital.
