Hearts Speak 1
I don't have much to say about Hearts Speak that I didn't already say. Here are so inspos for Haley and Maverick's look at Maverick's birthday party. I am sort of interested in them as a couple and how their dynamic works but we won't get much of them because of Nova's POV. Also I feel like it would involve research.
TDOSH
Speaking of research....I've been doing some TDOSH of The Lost Sentinel and I think I cracked why that serial will always be unfinished; I don't have the genre savvy to finish it.
Whenever I start writing something new to me I will skim through things in the genre or research to get get some guidance and ideas. It was super easy to "study" cyberpunk because it's mostly short stories. I researched the plethora of info about Greek mythology for Blessed Hearts and even when I was doing more kmart realism I read some stories and papers.
It's hard for me to do this with SciFi because you can't just dip in and out of that genre. I even tried to give it the story a third try and I just couldn't get it. I did try to tie up the loose ends as best I could for the TDOSH and who knows maybe I can recycle the characters ?
Hearts Speak 2
After being kicked out of the University of Albany for drinking, 20-year-old Nova is a community college student in upstate New York. He comes to the city for Maverick, his father's boyfriend, birthday party and brings Beckett McKinney, an artist he thought was his boyfriend but who leaves him for someone else.
In his anger Nova sprays Clorox in Beck's bag, makes a pass at Maverick, storms out of the apartment and calls the one person he know he can always count on: Mason Clark.
